Eton College wants to build a new town of 3000 houses on land it owns at the foot of the South Downs.

This loss of green space would:

  • Damage the landscape of the South Downs forever

  • Destroy habitat & eco systems that we should be protecting

  • Concrete over working historical farmland 

  • Ruin 3 village communities which would be absorbed by this urban sprawl

  • Add congestion & more pressures on surrounding villages and towns

We don’t need it.  We are already meeting local housing targets.  The only gain is to the profits of Eton College & Welbeck Land Developers.
